At Africa Basketball Academy, we’re dedicated to raising basketball standards in South Africa and beyond. Africa Basketball Academy boasts three clubs across Johannesburg: Bryanston, Midrand and Pretoria, providing a versatile and conducive environment for basketball training and development.

Our passion is basketball.
Founded on July 30, 2024, Africa Basketball Academy was inspired by our deep love for basketball and the children we coach. We want to provide them with a genuine opportunity to succeed in basketball while sharing our passion for the game. As basketball enthusiasts, our goal is to offer the best training and development for young athletes.
Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance the standards of basketball in Africa where focused attention is given to individuals to improve overall, and increase their own self-esteem when on the basketball court. We aim to provide a community where individuals grow their own love for the game, and, to those who aspire to pursue a professional career in basketball. We aim to provide all players with skills needed to succeed on any level of basketball.
Our vision
Our vision is to see our players competing in the Basketball Africa League (BAL) with the confidence and skills to succeed. We aspire to grow into the largest and most prestigious basketball academy in Africa, capable of competing with academies in Europe, America, and worldwide.
